Prince Harry's 'many betrayals' of Prince William and Princess Kate 'hard to get over'

The Duke of Sussex launched a number of attacks on Prince William in his autobiography
Prince William and Prince Harry seem no closer to healing their feud, according to a royal author who spoke exclusively to GB News.
Gareth Russell, who recently published The Palace, explained how the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex could mend their differences.
He said: “In families, things can flare up and seem terrible and then they can be fixed in times of bereavement, or simply from missing one another. Those two brothers could do that.
“But from a more pragmatic perspective, it's worth noting that there is no one who was attacked more consistently in the memoir Spare than Prince William.
“There was no member of the Royal Family who had as many private details revealed in that book, as Prince William.
“Even Queen Camilla was not attacked as consistently as Prince William was.
“Prince Harry revealed details of conversations that they had after their grandfather's funeral.
“There was video footage of him showing one of William's texts to Meghan and you didn't see the text, but really, there were many betrayals of Prince William's privacy in that, which I would imagine for someone who is as conscious and fiercely protective of his privacy as Prince William that is going to be quite difficult to get over."

Russell explained the historical reasons as to why William is fiercely protective of his privacy.
He claimed: “It's worth remembering that it's not just Prince Harry. The concerns about privacy arose from their mother's experience.
“It's not just a question of the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex making up. This is complicated by the fact that Prince William's wife was dragged into this a lot by the Sussexes.
“The amount of time that was spent in the Oprah Winfrey interview discussing Princess Charlotte's tights was staggering, I don’t think anyone ever expected that we would have to hear that much about it."
Kate was 'insulted' by Prince Harry's attacks, royal commentator claimed

The royal author explained why Kate and Harry have become distanced as a result of the Sussexes' public attacks.
Russell opined: “Kate was insulted quite a few times by even the way Prince Harry described her in Spare as being dolled up to the nines, was quite dismissive and quite patronising.
“It becomes more difficult to build a bridge when your spouse has been burned by it the first time.
“So there are certainly a lot of issues that the brothers would need to deal with."

The Duke of Sussex made it clear in Spare that his relationship with his brother is "acrimonious".
Russell explained: “Prince Harry has made it explicitly clear, when he referred to Prince William as both his best friend and his mortal enemy and when he made fun of his brother losing his hair in the memoir, that actually, this is quite an acrimonious relationship and that Prince Harry is very angry at his brother and one would assume vice versa.
“So I will be surprised if they can [make up], but then again family relationships can change all the time.”
